‘What we have here is a situation that such a large number of Ukrainians employed in Poland does not take jobs away from Poles, but reduces unemployment. These are very interesting conclusions, and, with regard to our social policy, the agencies and ministries responsible for this field should analyse it very carefully (…),’

said about the study Marek Kuchciński, Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and initiator of the Europe of the Carpathians Conference.

The survey „War Refugees from Ukraine. A Year in Poland” was conducted on behalf of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister between 10-16 February 2023 by the EWL Migration Platform, the EWL Foundation and the Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw.
