More and more foreigners working in Poland are registered with ZUS. The latest labor market data presented by the PKO BP bank already indicate nearly 800,000 foreigners who were registered with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) as of May 31. In total, it is 127,000 more than before the pandemic. (…)

The study “A foreign employee in the era of a pandemic” conducted in April and May 2021 by the EWL Group agency and the Study of Eastern Europe at the University of Warsaw shows that the vast majority of foreign employees, without whom, as the data show, the pension system in Poland may collapse, who decided for employment in our country during the COVID-19 pandemic, she does not regret her decision and would recommend work to her friends. According to the survey, already over 30 percent of foreigners employed in Poland were looking for job offers in other countries. In September 2020, this indicator was 1/3 lower (19 percent). (…)

Still, most foreigners are interested in the possibility of going to Germany (51 percent), Poland ranks second – 48 percent of subjects want to work with us. (…)
