Highlights
Client
A leader in the hospitality industry, whose portfolio includes KFC, Burger King and Pizza Hut restaurant chains. The company employs over 15,000 people in its restaurants and regularly implements innovations to develop the business.
Recruitment and legalization of employees
The client hires employees for restaurants throughout Poland. These are usually small numbers, a few people per restaurant, often in locations far from city centres.
The company was looking for a solution that would allow it not only to effectively recruit foreigners to work in typical kitchen positions, but also to efficiently legalize them. Own recruitment was not able to meet the client’s staffing needs, so they decided to ask for our assistance in recruitment and legalization of employment and residence of foreigners.
The client requested to recruit up to a dozen or so workers per month, who would be posted at restaurants in different parts of Poland. The candidates did not have to have high skills or special competences. The most important requirement was the willingness to work and the possession of a sanitary booklet.
Assistance at every stage of the hiring process
An in-depth analysis and previous experience allowed us to suggest an optimal solution for our client. In order to help our client as effectively as possible our activities focused on securing the company’s needs in terms of human resources, i.e., recruitment of temporary workers, and on taking over the responsibility for quality service in the context of legalization of foreigners.
Thanks to thousands of successfully completed legalization projects, our team helped the client with the legalization procedures necessary to employ foreign workers. It was also of importance to us to provide the client with high quality services and contact, thanks to which we kept the client informed about the changes in regulations and updates. In addition, we monitored the legalization process of candidates on their behalf.
Staff replenishment
By cooperating with EWL, the client increased the number of employees in locations where there was a shortage of staff. Our company also took care of the legalization of candidates, and therefore legalized approximately 30-55 foreigners per month, and the average time of processing one statement on entrusting work to a foreigner was 7-8 days.
In addition, our agency provided the client with comprehensive support in the field of issues related to the legalization of employment and obtaining a residence permit.
An agency = greater peace of mind
Cooperation with EWL allowed the client not only to avoid involvement in the difficult and complicated process of legalizing foreigners, but also enabled them to focus on business development thanks to the successful recruitment for many locations. It is worth noting that the client values the employees very much and therefore allows them to develop their careers within the company’s structures, which translates into lower turnover. Working with EWL enabled the client to focus on optimizing the development system for non-Polish employees.
The solutions suggested and implemented by the EWL agency brought the results expected by the client. In order to achieve the goal, we applied a cooperation model whose essential elements were:
- Recruitment of foreigners ready to work in hospitality
- Full support of legalization, including obtaining type A work permits.
The actions we have implemented in the case of this company will work equally well in other companies, from any industry, which employ foreigners in large numbers. Working with EWL can be valuable for organizations that want to simplify this process as much as possible.
