Seasonal workers needed!

The specific activity of the company means an increased production demand for fish and fish products in the period from September to the end of the year (related to Christmas). The high demand for the offered products makes it necessary for the company to employ many additional production workers during this period of the year.

The company was looking for employees with a high level of manual dexterity. Although the work in production did not require any special qualifications, it was important for the candidates to be meticulous and to carry out their planned duties with care.

Partner in recruitment

The client was facing seasonal employment instability and as a result our agency was tasked with providing additional production personnel. Initially, the EWL employment agency was one of many agencies recruiting for the client’s facilities. This was due to the client’s strategy to diversify its suppliers in this area.

Time and our efforts have shown that we are the leader in the industry and we are certainly distinguished by our collaborative partnership approach and our high project completion rate within the allotted time.

In order to build the right relationships at each of the client’s plants, the representatives of our agency met with their managers. During the meetings we showed how EWL structures cooperate and presented our method of operation. As soon as the company reported a greater need for production workers, we successfully met this need.

Production secured

During our cooperation we recruited over 300 employees for our client. The EWL agency has become the main supplier of temporary workers. The successful cooperation was impacted by the broad and clearly described offer and the fact that the first serious orders were completed within the agreed time. The company thus made sure that it had made the right choice in terms of cooperation with an employment agency and entrusted us with servicing other plants as well.

Subsequent orders placed by the client prove that the company is still developing and its staffing needs are growing. EWL constantly helps the client to keep the production flowing and to develop freely.

The structure of a successful employment agency

Let us add that in this project the cooperation of all departments of the EWL agency is of importance. This is because there is need of a broader team that includes:

  • supervisors,
  • local coordinators,
  • an extensive network of recruiters.

The solutions proposed to this client will also work well for other production companies, especially where the challenge is to employ a large number of temporary workers during the high increase in demand associated with the seasonality of production.
