The study showed that almost two-thirds of employed foreigners (63.5%) intend to take advantage of the automatic extension of the validity of documents allowing them to stay and work in Poland during the pandemic, which was proposed by the Polish government.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Currently,\nwhen companies are gradually resuming production and Polish farmers are\npreparing for the opening of the season, this lack of manual employees will be\nseverely felt and the path to acquiring them is blocked. This means it is high\ntime for further decisive steps taken by the authorities towards the\nintroduction of special solutions for foreigners working in Poland. All the more so because\ncountries such as Germany, Finland and the United Kingdom have already joined\nthe fight for seasonal employees from the East.’, comments Andrzej Korkus, CEO of EWL<\/strong>.
